May 22-25, 6:30-8:30 p.m.  VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL with the Methodist Church at Turpin Mennonite Church for ages         3 years through grade 5.  We will follow Joseph in Egypt from prison to palace!

NEWS AND NOTES

CONGRATULATIONS to Franz and Connie Friesen on the birth of their son Ivan Daniel, born May 10, weighing 7 lbs 3 oz, and 20 inches long.  A baby shower will be held for them on Sunday, June 5th, following a carry-in meal after Sunday school.

 

BRIEF MEMORIAL DAY SERVICE  at the Turpin Mennonite Cemetery on Monday, May 30, 11:00 a.m. to remember loved ones who have  passed on.

 

SEE LETTER of response from First Mennonite Church Pastor of Beatrice, NE on the bulletin board and in your emails to our letter about WDC passing the Rainbow resolution last summer. The Deacons are working on a survey to be sent out to active attenders to get feedback on any further steps.

SUNDAY SCHOOL OFFERING PROJECT for the Spring

quarter is the Mennonite Central Committee COW BANK project for families in Vietnam affected by Agent Orange during the war.
