Wednesday Night – Youth – 6:30-8:00pm at the Turpin Methodist Church

 

NEXT SUNDAY!!!  Harvest Mission Sunday – Starts @ 10:00am and there is no Sunday School.  Join us as Jenny Epp leads us in worship and as we hear from Lisa Batt.  Lisa will share about her new position and the ministries with Fellowship of Christian Athletes in our area.

**There will be a carry-in meal after service.  Join us and bring friends.

 

Wednesday Night Youth Meal – October 28th our church will be in charge of bringing the meal for youth.

More News & Notes

Trunk or Treat – October 31st in the Turpin School Parking Lot the Turpin Community will be hosting a Trunk or Treat.  Everyone is invited to come and decorate your cars and pass out candy.  Hot dogs will be served.

 

Mission Statement – The Deacons are asking members to read the Turpin Mennonite Church Purpose Statement in the constitution (we will have copies available) and to come up with ideas for our Church Mission Statement.  This statement is a short, sweet statement to describe who we are as a church and what we are about.  An easy to remember short phase that tells others about our mission.  Voting will take place later this year.  Please turn in your ideas to the marked mailbox in the mailroom by November 1st.    Please see a Deacon if you have questions.
