NEWS AND NOTES

PLEDGES for the Restroom/Nursery Project are now at $22,250.00.  We have exceeded our goal of $20,000.  Thank you to all who made pledges so now the project can go forward!

 

HARVEST MISSION SUNDAY will be on November 5.  Guest

speaker will be Cleo Koop, Disaster Management Program

Director at Hesston College.   His message: “NOAH…Was A

Disaster Manager!”  Plan for an fun Sunday school time

with Cleo in the sanctuary.    Plan for a carry-in meal at noon.

 

THE MENNONITE magazine features voices from across the Anabaptist-Mennonite world.  The church group subscription will renew on December 1.  If you are receiving The Mennonite and wish to continue, there is nothing to do.  If you are receiving The Mennonite and prefer not to receive it, please let Dori know before December 1.  If you would like to receive The Mennonite, please ask Dori to add your name to the group subscription by December 1.  The discount for new subscribers is $30 per year.  For ongoing subscribers it is $37.00 per year.

MENNONITE CENTRAL COMMITTEE is responding to

disasters around the world and is running low on relief kits and

comforters.  The goal is to ship 83,000 relief kits by March and

7000 comforters by November 2018.  Items or donations can be

sent to MCC, 121 E. 30th St., North Newton, KS 67117.
