Upcoming Events and News!

Wednesday Night – Youth – 6:30-8:00pm at the Turpin Methodist Church.  We are in charge of the meal this week (28th).

 

Trunk or Treat – October 31st from 5:30-7:00pm at the Turpin School Parking Lot.  Everyone is invited to come and decorate your cars and pass out candy.  Hot dogs will be served.

Thank you – Dear Church Family, Thank you for the meat and cheese tray, the veg. tray, rolls and G.F. crackers, plates.  This was very much appreciated and enjoyed.  Thank you for the beautiful cut flowers that was at mom’s memorial.  All of you are very special to our family.  Raul & Rosetta

 

Mission Statement – The Deacons are asking members to read the Turpin Mennonite Church Purpose Statement in the constitution (we will have copies available) and to come up with ideas for our Church Mission Statement.  This statement is a short, sweet statement to describe who we are as a church and what we are about.  An easy to remember short phase that tells others about our mission.  Voting will take place later this year.  Please turn in your ideas to the marked mailbox in the mailroom by November 1st.    Please see a Deacon if you have questions.

 

Directory update – We are making updates to the directory for our annual business meeting time in January.  Please let Dori or Karen know if your contact information needs to be updated.  This includes updating the addresses with the new 911 addresses that are being issued.
